Description: MFF-LB1 is fiberglass that is milled down into tiny fiber balls. This is done to reduce the length of the fibers to increase the flowablility and facilitate the disbursement of the resin throughout the fiberglass. This material may also be used as a filler insulation. The benefits of using milled fiberglass are to increase wear resistance and improve corrosion resistance while maintaining excellent compressive strength.
Application: To start the application process of using milled fiberglass, you must first clean the desired area. You must the begin adding the milled fiberglass to the resin of your choice. Mix the fiberglass to the consistency desired. Apply the milled fiberglass resin to the repair using a putty knife. Smooth out the milled fiberglass until all pores and cracks are filled. Cure as required. After the resin is hardened you may then sand the material to your desired shapes. Remember to always wear your PPE.
Handling Precautions: Always completely read the MSDS prior to use.
