Description: FA2508MIL is a structural adhesive film intended for solid panels and honeycomb sandwich applications. This is a high bond, high strength adhesive film that has an excellent resistance to moisture before and after curing. Capable of both low pressure bonding and vacuum cure capability making it a user friendly adhesive film.

Application: To start the application process, you must first allow the material to reach room temperature. Be sure the parts to be bonded have been thoroughly cleaned and dried. Cut the material to desired dimensions for your application. Remove one side of the liner and apply the adhesive to the substrate, pressing from the center out to remove any air bubbles.  Remove protective liner from the remaining side, complete assembly being careful not to trap any air in between. Ideal cure temperature is 250-300 deg F for 60 minutes however a lower temperature of 225-250 deg can be used if cured for 90 minutes.  

Cure time: Min of 120 minutes at 250 +/- 15 degree, Heat up rate of 5 deg. per minute.

Storage: Recommended 1 year
